Chris Barton joins JEHM Wealth & Retirement as a Paraplanner and Client Services Manager with 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. Chris was born and raised in the Northeast before moving to South Carolina to study financial management at Clemson University. He fell in love with the upstate and decided to make it his permanent home!
Chris has 12 years of experience working with Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage plans, Medicare prescription drug plans, as well as short-term health insurance plans that offer people a health insurance option if they are uninsured prior to becoming eligible for Medicare. Chris is licensed to sell life and health insurance in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and New York, is a National Social Security Advisor Certificate Holder, and is three classes away from earning his Financial Services Certified Professional designation.
Chris isn’t all work and no play — outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his 18-year-old son and watching him grow into a young man. Chris is also an avid sports fan and supports the New York Giants, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and of course … the Clemson Tigers!
